4. Alpha is also a fun evening out, and a great way to make friends!

Alpha provides an opportunity for people to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Many of us would describe ourselves as being at the beginning of a spiritual quest or journey, and Alpha is a chance to dig into the big questions about life, God, faith, the Bible etc. No question is out of bounds, and you’re free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We also don’t assume any background knowledge of, or belief in Christianity, which pretty much levels the playing field for everyone – for this Alpha group, we would like to focus on the military youths/teens here on Hanscom.

An Alpha evening always begins with a meal/snack, followed by a short film on one of the big questions, and then a time to discuss the content.

The first Alpha meeting will take place on Monday, June13th at 6:30pm 23 Liberty Ln.
